Post-Op Recovery + Specialty Treatments.
Sculpt. Specialized care for surgical recovery, prenatal support, and targeted treatment. Performed by RMTs.
After cosmetic or medical surgery, swelling, fluid retention, and scar tissue formation are common. Lymphatic drainage can support the body’s natural healing process by encouraging fluid movement and reducing buildup in the surgical area.
At Kube Yuen RMT, post-operative treatments are performed by Registered Massage Therapists who understand surgical healing and can adapt technique based on your procedure, your surgeon’s guidance, and your stage of recovery.
Post-op lymphatic drainage may be appropriate for clients recovering from liposuction, tummy tuck, BBL (Brazilian butt lift), rhinoplasty, facelift, and other cosmetic or medical procedures. If you are unsure whether lymphatic drainage is appropriate for your recovery, please consult your surgeon before booking.
WHAT IS BRAZILIAN LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE?
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized massage technique that uses rhythmic, medium-pressure strokes to stimulate the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is your body’s natural drainage network. It moves fluid, filters waste, and supports immune function. When it becomes sluggish from stress, inactivity, diet, or other factors, fluid builds up. You feel heavy, puffy, and bloated.
This technique was developed in Brazil and refined as a body sculpting and wellness practice. It targets the lymphatic pathways throughout the body using precise, directional strokes that encourage fluid movement toward the lymph nodes, where it is processed and eliminated
At Snatched by Kubes, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage is performed exclusively by Registered Massage Therapists with specialized training in this technique. Kube trained under Tatiana Viana at Brazilian Beauty Bar in Los Angeles. Lindsay trained in Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage to complement her clinical massage practice. Both are in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Because this is a massage therapy service performed by RMTs, your treatment receipt is eligible for coverage under most extended health insurance plans.
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage may be a good fit if you are experiencing:
Fluid retention and bloating. The treatment is designed to support the movement of lymphatic fluid and reduce the sensation of heaviness.
Post-travel swelling. Long flights and changes in routine can slow lymphatic flow. A session can help your body recalibrate.
Pre-event preparation. Many clients book before weddings, vacations, photo shoots, or other occasions where they want to feel their best.
General wellness maintenance. Regular lymphatic drainage supports detoxification and overall wellbeing as part of a broader self-care routine.
Stress and tension. The rhythmic nature of the technique promotes relaxation alongside its physical effects.
If you are recovering from surgery, please see our Post-Op Recovery page for treatments specifically designed for surgical healing.

Scar Tissue Work
Scar tissue forms naturally after surgery, injury, or cesarean delivery. Over time, adhesions can develop beneath the surface, restricting movement, creating tightness, and causing discomfort in surrounding tissue.
Scar tissue massage uses targeted manual techniques to break down adhesions, improve tissue mobility, and support the body's natural remodeling process. Treatment is adapted to the age and type of your scar, and your therapist will assess the area before beginning any work.
This service is appropriate for clients with healed surgical scars (cosmetic or medical), c-section scars, and injury-related scarring. The tissue must be fully closed and healed before scar work can begin. If you are unsure whether your scar is ready for treatment, consult your healthcare provider before booking.
